Parker Family Health Center Receives $20,000 Grant for Dental Clinic in Monmouth County

The Monmouth Park Charity Fund Winner’s Circle Society held its annual grant finalist presentation and reception on Thursday, August 28th, at the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore Program Activity Center in Farmingdale, NJ. This highly anticipated event gathered members of the Winners Circle Society to select the recipient of the $20,000 grant awarded through the organization’s 6th Annual Grant Program.

Three outstanding nonprofit organizations — 180 Turning Lives Around, Lunch Break, and Parker Family Health Center — delivered powerful presentations outlining their impactful work in the Monmouth County community. Following thoughtful deliberation, the grant was awarded to Parker Family Health Center. Suzy Dyer, Executive Director of Parker Family Health Center, and Dr. Eugene Cheslock, Riverview Medical Center oncologist and one of the founders of the Parker Family Health Center, received their award at MPCF’s 5th Annual Golf Invitational Dinner & Awards Reception, held on Monday, September 8 at Suneagles Golf Club in Eatontown, NJ.

In collaboration with Brookdale Community College, Parker Family Health Center is launching a free dental clinic to serve uninsured and under-resourced Monmouth County residents. Located on the Brookdale campus, the clinic will be the first of its kind in New Jersey, with an anticipated opening in Spring 2026. The grant will support the delivery of no-cost dental care, as well as the development of a dental hygiene certification program—the only one currently offered in Monmouth County.

Although the two remaining finalists did not receive the primary grant award, each was presented with a $1,500 grant in recognition of their vital contributions and continued service to the community.

The Monmouth Park Charity Fund remains steadfast in its mission to raise and distribute funds to Monmouth County nonprofits that provide essential services—including healthcare, support for vulnerable populations, and specialized community resources. The Winner’s Circle Society plays a key role in advancing MPCF’s impact, thanks to the generosity and collaboration of its committed members.
