Brian & Elizabeth Kirk
Jirk Inc
Elizabeth and Brian Kirk are partners in life, family, and music, known throughout the community for bringing people together through energy, generosity, and a great sense of humor—especially from Brian, a self-proclaimed comedian. As the driving forces behind Jirk Inc and the widely recognized band Brian Kirk & the Jirks, they have spent years creating unforgettable experiences and filling dance floors across the region. Their work goes beyond entertainment, rooted in a genuine love of community and connection. That commitment is reflected in their philanthropic efforts. Brian frequently performs for nonprofit organizations across New Jersey, generously donating his time while ensuring his musicians are always taken care of. Elizabeth dedicates her time to Lunch Break in Red Bank, supporting its mission to provide food, clothing, and resources to those in need. Their children share that same spirit of giving—Emmerson has volunteered with meal deliveries and various initiatives through Lunch Break, while Donovan recently had his first experience working in the Lunch Break warehouse and is already eager to return. At home, they are proud parents to two incredible children. Their daughter, Emmerson, 18, has just returned from two semesters abroad—one in Argentina and another with Semester at Sea, where she studied across three continents and 11 countries. Their son, Donovan, a 15-year-old freshman at RFH, is one of the hardest-working people they know—balancing football, golf, biking around town, and playing bass with a local music academy. When he’s not in school or on the field, Donovan can often be found working alongside his Dad as part of the band—serving as a roadie and unofficial security at shows and weddings. Elizabeth and Brian are deeply honored to receive the Community Engagement Award from the Monmouth Park Charity Fund and are grateful to be part of a community they love so much. And while Brian may be the one with the microphone, everyone who knows him understands that the real operation runs on family, teamwork, and just the right amount of his humor.
