Tim Hogan joined Meridian Health in 2001 as president of Riverview Medical Center. Since then, he has successfully overseen efforts to transform the hospital into one of the premier providers of health care in New Jersey. Under his leadership, Riverview has successfully undertaken initiatives to significantly renovate and grow the footprint of the facility, strengthen and expand clinical programming and add cutting edge technological advancements and capabilities to its cadre of services. Under Tim’s leadership, Riverview underwent a complete renovation and expansion of its Emergency Care Center, Intensive Care Unit, Rehabilitation Center, Pediatric Services, Perioperative and Surgical Services including the construction of two new state-of-the-art specialty surgical suites, a renovated post-anesthesia care area, a relocated and renovated Surgical Day Stay Unit, a Robotic Surgery Center and a state-of-the-art conference and educational center and major upgrades to patient floors and parking facilities. Additionally, the hospital completed a cancer care initiative that included the renovation and expansion of the John and Jane H. Booker Cancer Center, the introduction of cutting edge radiation technology and the formulation of a successful clinical partnership with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to establish comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cancer service and oncologic programming. This partnership enables MSK and HMH physicians, nurses and support staff to work together to care for the Riverview cancer patient population in a dedicated cutting edge cancer care setting. Today, the hospital is the home to over 900 affiliated physicians and 1400 team members, whose quality and patient satisfaction scores are among the highest in the tri-state region.

In 2010, Tim assumed leadership responsibility for Bayshore Medical Center in addition to his responsibilities at Riverview Medical Center. Tim and his executive team at Bayshore introduced and implemented a strategic plan to grow the breadth and scope of services at the hospital, which included the addition of several new programs including the Center for Bariatrics, a dedicated Pediatric Care Center, a Center for Sleep Medicine and a Center for Wound Healing. The hospital has also added two new state-of-the-art cardiac and vascular labs, further providing Bayshore with the ability to enhance its growing cardiovascular program. In 2019, the hospital completed the construction of a new Emergency Care Center, a further acknowledgement of its firm commitment to serve a growing population.

In May 2014, Tim was named Regional Hospital President and assumed leadership responsibility for Jersey Shore University Medical Center, the K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital, Bayshore Medical Center and Riverview Medical Center in addition to overseeing Meridian’s Cardiovascular, Neurosciences, Behavioral Health, Oncology and Women’s and Children’s service lines.

With the merger of Hackensack Health and Meridian Health in 2016, Tim was appointed President of HMH Network Service Lines and assumed responsibility for the network’s orthopedic, oncology, neuroscience, pediatrics, women’s services and cardiovascular service lines. This new structure has enabled HMH to work more efficiently with the hospitals in the HMH Network to develop and implement strategic plans to grow priority services and improve healthcare access to the communities that HMH serves.

In March 2021, Tim returned to Riverview Medical Center as President and Chief Hospital Executive of the hospital in addition to maintaining his network responsibilities as the Executive Vice President of Network Service Lines in order to assist in the continued development of the Riverview campus.

In addition to his responsibilities at Hackensack Meridian Health, Tim has continued to involve himself in numerous community activities. Tim is a member of and served for 6 years as President of the Board for Monmouth/Middlesex Boy Scouts of America. He is a past board member for the Community YMCA and served as board chairman for 4 years. Additionally, Tim serves or has served on the Board of the Eastern Area Monmouth Chamber of Commerce, Parker Family Health Center, Count Basie Theatre Foundation and New Jersey Symphony. Tim also is recognized and serves as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the organization’s highest level of professional achievement.

Tim received a BS in Psychology from St. Bonaventure University and holds a MHA from the Washington University School of Medicine.
